AC Tech Sub-Micro AC Drive THE SCF SERIES

AC Tech Sub-micro AC drive THE SCF SERIES

The SCF Series sub-micro drive offers features, ratings and voltages that are typically found only on much larger drives.  This truly flexible sub-micro drive gives you the compact size you need for your panel layout while delivering on the functions and features your process demands. The SCF Series can be used with 3-phase AC induction motors rated from 1/4 HP up to 30HP (0.18 - 22 kW) on voltages from 120V single-phase to 590 V three-phase.

With 18 isolated terminals (5 logic inputs, 2 logic outputs, 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs plus RS485 Modbus Serial Communication), the SCF Series is ideal for motion control applications from the simple to the complex.

Like all AC Tech sub-micro drives, the SCF Series drives employ the EPM memory technology for fast and efficient programming.

Enclosure: Rugged IP20 with finger safe terminals.

Standard Features
Easy Set-up and Operation: The SCL is easy to use right out of the box or can be customized to meet your specific requirements any one of four convenient ways:

-From the front of the drive
   -The Remote Keypad option
   -The innovative EPM Programmer.
-A PC using AC Tech’s free TechLink Software and the EPM Programmer

Motor Thermal Overload:
The SCF is an approved motor protection device for single motor applications by UL and cUL.

Control I/O:18 isolated terminals provide 5 logic inputs, 2 logic outputs, 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs plus RS485 Modbus Serial Communication.

Quiet Operation: Adjustable carrier frequency to 10kHz.

SCF Options

NEMA 4X Remote Keypad:
Connects to SCF over RS485.
Allows operation and programming
of the drive.

High Frequency Output Option:

Contact AC Tech for SCF Models for high speed applications up to 1000Hz.

Set-point Control:
All models of the SCF are available in an optional configuration that allows for set-point control using an internal PI (proportional & integral) control algorithm. This is ideal for process control applications where constant flow, pressure, density, etc are desired.

DIN Rail Mounting Kit:
Allows easy mounting of the SCF Drive onto standard DIN Rail.
(instruction sheet available in Library)

Dynamic Braking Kit:
Prepackaged resistor modules with control electronics provide easy mounting within the control cabinet.
(instruction sheet available in Library)

AC Line Filters:
AC input line filters are available for all sub-micro drives to meet European requirements for susceptibility and emissions of electrical and radiated noise (EN 61800-3 and EN 5501). The filter is designed to mount to the electrical panel and has provisions for mounting the drive directly to the face of the filter.

EPM Programmer:
This compact battery operated option allows programming the EPM (on the front of each drive) directly and without power to the drive!
Copy drive parameters easily or write new ones using the backlit LCD display that uses real language programming.
