Union Grove, WI – American Roller Company has introduced new Escort® CK rollers, the most economical line of high-release hard coat rollers available in the converting and nonwovens industries. Escort CK rollers feature excellent non-stick properties with good durability, wear and abrasion resistance, delivering comparable performance to industry standard products while costing less. From the makers of the industry's premier line of high-release coatings, Escort CK rollers are engineered to reduce web wrap-ups, maintenance and waste that can result from adhesive build-up on the roller surface.
The CK series is recommended for use in idler, web tracking and/or guide roll positions in adhesive coating or curing operations. The coverings are available in finishes from 175 to over 1000 Ra and can be used in temperatures up to 300° F to satisfy a wide variety of application requirements.
All Escort rollers are made with a release impregnated, tough metal-matrix, 60 Rockwell C hard coat that stands up to abrasive webs. The release properties provide a high coefficient of friction to promote consistent web tensions.
